This mead is brewed with berries picked from hedgerows near to the brewery, foraged in the Autumn by the producers themselves. The honey is fermented to be medium dry, and uses a huge variety of fruits, such as rowanberries, elderberries, plums, crab apples, sloes and wild cherries. On the palate, expect bold, complex fruity notes with a slightly tart finish.
Situated in the historic county of Perthshire, The Rookery take all their inspiration from ancient traditions and forage for their own ingredients to flavour their meads.
